Sean Penn Says Men Have Become “Quite Feminized,” Attributes Shifting Gender Norms to “Cowardly Genes”
In a promotional interview for his latest flick, the grizzled one took modern men to task.
“I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized. I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them,” Penn told the outlet. “There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.”

My wife has grudgingly agreed to see Jackass Forever in a movie theater with me. It isn’t that this is a film I need to see on a big screen. It’s just that seeing this group of morons find ways to beat themselves up for my entertainment is a part of the fabric from which I was sewn.
During COVID, I have made the trip to a movie theater far less frequently. Interstingly, the last movie I saw before the lockdowns in March 2020 was the Impractical Jokers Movie so I suppose there is a theme involved here.

As soon as the Black Lives Matter activist movement began there were calls from Oprah and Hillary Clinton to organize and put out a consistent message. They didn’t but some certainly started raising buckets of cash on behalf of them. Those buckets don’t seem to be translating into activism but instead into book deals, Netflix contracts, speaking engagements, and more cash.
All they needed to do was look to their left at Ibram Kendi to see him make bank writing children’s book about racism (and also some books for children, too) and look at his $20,000 per speaking gig fee. Nothing smacks of opportunity than a good cause.
Too Old to Play and Thankfully So
Back in the day, I used to play Grand Theft Auto on my Playstation. I loved it. One day, after playing for several hours, I had to go to the store. As I walked down the street, the urge to carjack an old lady, punch her in the face, and speed away in her Volvo was overwhelming.
I stopped playing after that.
